Work in your neighborhood and give back to your community. BAYADA Home Health Care has an immediate need for a HHA to care for a client with autism one-on-one in the Williamsport, PA area. Hours would be 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday, and would include both home and school hours. Client attends Williamsport High School. Weekend hours are sometimes available as well. Experience with autism preferred, but not required. Care needs include assisting with toileting and personal care, encouraging independence and selfcare as much as possible and maintaining safety. Qualifications for HHA – Home Health Aide:

• One year of verifiable direct care experience such as a hospital, nursing home or home care agency setting

• HHA training may be available for the right candidate

Job Responsibilities for HHA – Home Health Aide:

• Activities of daily living

• Light housekeeping

• Bathing

• Grooming

• Toileting

• Nail care

• Range of motion / exercises

• Transfers / use of mechanical lifting devices

• Oral feeding

• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration

• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.

• Assisting with ambulation

• Medication assistance
