NJ Employer Fruit Farm Orchard Work in Williamson, New York

Anticipated period of employment: 08/30/2024 to 11/30/2024

All applicants must have 3 months experience hand harvesting a perishable crop. Applicants must be able to furnish affirmative job references from recent employers.

Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest apples & peaches. Use hand tools , operate tractors, tractor drawn machinery, and self propelled machinery to plow, harvest crop. Harvest fruit by hand, yields, or costs. Apples injured by bruising during picking shall not exceed 2% ( WNY) for processing. Productivity must at least 6 bins (120 bushels ) fresh market and /or 8 bins ( 160 bushes ) processing fruit per day. Employer will furnish to workers, without cost, all tools, and equipment required in the performance of the duties assigned. Workers should report for work with their own suitable work clothing. Field temperatures may range below 0 to 90 + degrees ( f ) with possible wet experience in performing tasks described in the order. See ETA 790/790A for a complete job description.

Only workers meeting all qualifications on the job order should be referred by the Job Service Office. Interested candidates must contact their local employment office to receive a copy of the job order (ETA 790/790A) and applicable attachments. Once the applicant has a copy of the job contract they may call and/or email the employer to schedule an interview Monday- Friday from 3pm to 5pm and referred to NY1504571 as the JO is in connection with this NJ number.
