Amentum is seeking a Logistics Support Officer (LSO) located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The LSO performs limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging and property utilization) related to local or other supply activities. Work is typically segregated by commodity area or function. The work generally involves individual supply actions. This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines.

Job Requirements:

• Significant working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals or other established guidelines.

• Understanding of the needs of the organization serviced.

• Analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, and to collect the necessary data to establish the facts.

• Take or recommend action based on application or interpretation of established guidelines.

• Performs logistics functions for the program services to include acquisition, supply chain coordination and communication, integrated logistics support, and product distribution.

• Provide acquisition planning, and implementation, system design and integration.

• Evaluation in support of the government or commercial programs.

• Works with GSCM to procure goods and services to support mission partner needs.

• Provides program management support to include project control, project planning and cost analysis and reporting.

• Supports monthly financial reporting for all procured services.

• Other assigned duties.

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Drivers License

• US or Naturalized Citizen

• Reliable Transportation

• Proficient In Excel, Maximo, Genesis and Ascent.

• 4-year college degree or 10 years’ experience in supply chain management or a related field.

• Strong organizational and analytical skills and high attention to detail.

• Must have strong communication skills, orally and in writing.

• Must possess active government clearance at time of application
