The Opportunity

This position works out of our Wiesbaden-Delkenheim Abbott Gmbh.

We are currently looking for a (Senior) Financial Analyst EDC for our ADD Division to be based in the European Distribution Center, Wiesbaden, Germany.

The (Senior) Financial Analyst position is a critical role to support the Supply Chain leadership team regarding all topics having a direct impact on the financial success of the unit.

In addition the (Senior) Financial Analyst is actively driving forecast accuracy, transparency and standardization.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate and timely financial and business analysis for European Distribution Center.

  • Report and monitor financial performance, including base-line analysis to budget and latest estimate.

  • Be involved in month end close, internal budgeting and forecasting process.

  • Support Warehouse Operations and International Demand Planning departments on site in all FP&A related matters (e.g. financial assessment of saving opportunities, Provision of KPI etc.)

  • Interact with Headquarter in Chicago as well as Commercial Affiliates around the world

Main tasks:

  • Balance Sheet Forecasting / Actual reporting including detailed Inventory Reporting

  • Headcount Reporting

  • Capital Reporting

  • Monthly Freight Accruals and Freight reporting to support Affiliates

  • Distressed Inventory Analysis

  • Monthly Preparation and review of Cost Center report (P&L)

  • KPI Reporting

  • Additional reporting & ad hoc analysis as needed

Your Profile:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience of financial / business analysis

  • Excellent capabilities and experience in Excel, SAP and Hyperion / IBM Planning Analytics (TM1)

  • Master’s (preferred) or Bachelor`s Degree in Finance / Business or Accounting

  • The ability to meet critical deadlines and handle a diverse workload

  • Detail oriented with excellent analytical, quantitative and investigative skills

  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented working, high operational readiness and ability to cope with pressure

  • Fluent in English

  • Good German language skills are preferred
