The Opportunity

This position works out of our Wiesbaden location in the Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

Your Tasks:

  • Execute and actively participate the commercial planning and reporting processes of Abbott Diabetes Care Germany, to secure our highest standards and ensure timely delivery

  • Collaborate with Leadership team, demand and country stakeholders to present an integrated plan of commercial assumptions for our operations on a regular (monthly) basis and on demand

  • Communicate and follow-up on commercial planning topics with relevant stakeholders – including market access, sales, finance, highlighting next steps and defining action plans to capture opportunities or avoid vulnerabilities versus business commitments

  • Establish strong communication with Area partners to drive best practices and related impact on commercial models

  • Collaborate with Finance and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment and integration with the financial forecasting processes

  • Continuously establish, evaluate, and improve the set of KPIs needed to best support the business planning and associated decision-making process

  • Provide departments with the tools and the support to efficiently run the planning & reporting process

  • Proactively identify, develop, and lead rollout of new tools, systems and processes to simplify and improve effectiveness

  • Identify new business opportunities to drive the expansion and extension of relevant business segments (including evaluating potential new sales channels, cooperations, partnerships etc.)

Your Qualification:

  • Graduate university level education – preferably in business/scientific-related disciplines. Advanced degree and previous sales/marketing/finance or other relevant experience a plus

  • Experience in commercial or financial planning and reporting process is a must

  • Experience in medical industry is a plus – with at least 3 years of previous experience within the Pharma or Diabetes sector is preferred

  • Excellent ability to effectively convey clear and concise messages, tailoring training, communication, and presentations to a diverse audience within the organization

  • Capability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment to deliver on communicated timelines and objectives

  • Displays a desire for continuous learning and development, demonstrating potential for growth and capability of moving on to roles with extended responsibilities

  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint), and PowerBI is prefferable

  • Fluent in German and English, written and spoken
