Where do you fit?

To be a successful Trainer you must become able to do the following always:

  1. Work closely with Permanency Services to research, develop, schedule, facilitate, conduct training programs, and publish training calendars.
  2. Research, design, and develop and/or facilitate the development of training materials to be used in training. Review and recommend external curricula. Develop alternative training formats including but not limited to online training. Oversee program-specific curriculum design.
  3. Collaborate with Department of Children and Families (DCF), Childrens Alliance, and other stakeholders and departments to support the training needs of the Company. Participate in and consult with groups and committees regarding training topics. May provide training support to overarching company training such as supervisory training.
  4. Participate in internal and external committees as requested. Collaborate with external stakeholders as they relate to training. Develop internal and external training resources. Develop a resource library for staff.
  5. Responsible for the data collection and the tracking of staff training. Ongoing reporting of department goals, outcomes, monitoring data, and general reports. Ensure staff training transcripts are available and accurate. Responsible for monitoring training attendance and training effectiveness. Ensure that training programs meet accreditation standards and licensing guidelines.
  6. Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Companys Program Practice Guideline

Requirements

To qualify for this job, you need to have:

  1. Degree Requirement bachelors degree in social work or social science or related field preferred.
  2. Licensure - Prefer licensure through the BSRB.
  3. 21 years of age. Must pass a background check, fingerprinting, and physical and drug screening.
  4. Work Experience - Prefer experience in case management or related activities.
  5. Prefer experience in training and presenting to large groups.
  6. Maintain company-required training.
  7. Ability to travel throughout the state.
  8. Ability and willingness to travel, driving company or personal vehicle including at night. Ability to do the occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs. Able to walk upstairs. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends. Employees are occasionally subject to outside environmental conditions.
