Responsibilities include the fabrication and repairs of precision tools such as die cast molds, stamping dies, precision jigs & fixtures. Set up and operate lathes, mills, saws, and surface grinders to produce tools. Requires 3-5 years experience in machine shop environment.

Essential Functions:(essential functions, including how an individual is to perform them and frequency at which tasks are performed; the tasks must be part of the job function and truly necessary or required to perform the job)

• Fabricate precision tooling and prototype parts using blue prints and sketches.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on sheet metal stamping dies. (Progression, single hit, and form dies.)
• Responsible for final assembly and fitting fabricated components.
• Operate CNC machinery in the fabrication of tooling and prototype parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assists Journeyman tool and die maker in the fabrication and assembly of precision tools.
