Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Job Description

As a Structural Design Engineer, your role will be pivotal in mechanical design, focusing on doors, hinge and latch mechanisms. You will have the opportunity to work on complex kinematic solutions in a conceptual design environment. Your extensive experience in space vehicle design will be vital as you guide engineers in structural design. You will also be part of the structural architecture identification and proposal of advanced technology. Your responsibilities will extend to supporting design through trade studies, concept development, and interface development. Experience in CATIA part design/assembly design/surface-wireframe/composites workbench is crucial. You will also design composites primary and secondary structure, high temp material forming, and have GD&T experience. Specialties in Wing Design, Fuselage Design, Vertical Tail Design, Air Vehicle Door Design, and Stringer/Frames/Clips design will be highly desired.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, Kansas.

Work Environment

This position requires a dedicated professional who can work onsite in a cleared facility from Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.
