• Packages products to protect from damage during transportation and storage; examines shipments to ensure they meet customer requirements and comply with carrier requirements, export regulations and customs documentation & compliance. Ensures shipping documents are accurate and complete, and that all packages are adequately labeled.

{=html} <!-- --> - May receive, unwrap, inspect, and store incoming materials; responsible for accurately recording counts, weights, condition, and storage locations for received items

{=html} <!-- --> - Utilizes forklift, pallet jacks, dolly, and other material handling equipment to transport materials; may operate overhead or jib crane; may use forklift to load and/or unload goods on trucks (Forklift certification upon employment is required)

{=html} <!-- --> - Completes appropriate paperwork in compliance with internal processes and quality procedures

{=html} <!-- --> - Maintains a clean and organized, safe work area

{=html} <!-- --> - Verifies equipment is operating correctly and safely; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance as appropriate

Required Work Experience

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse role performing stocking, order picking, and/or packaging is required

{=html} <!-- --> - Forklift experience with satisfactory record of safe operation is preferred

{=html} <!-- --> - Experience with export compliance and hazardous materials shipping is preferred

Other Required Skills and Abilities

• Ability to read and accurately interpret a pick ticket and verify counts with 100% accuracy

{=html} <!-- --> - Attention to detail and demonstration of accurate counting, measurement, and associated recordkeeping

{=html} <!-- --> - Ability to accurately read and record measurements within a 1/4 inch increment - Professional written and verbal communication skills (English)
