What are your contributions to the team?

• Attend daily Defense Tiger Team DMMs (Daily Morning Meetings) remotely and summarize activity and role in upcoming taskers and assignments.

• Manage the team’s Asana projects, including content deadlines and taskers.

• Liaise with a wide matrix of business units to include government relations, internal communications, public relations, events, brand marketing, finance, digital communication, customer experience, strategy, programs, sales, investor relations, industry relations.

• Act as onsite Wichita representative for Bombardier Defense consisting of marketing, communications, public relations, government relations and events.

• Assist the Bombardier Defense Marketing Advisor in the Following areas:

• Assist with taskers related to Bombardier Defense product portfolio and strategic marketing plans. Manage the approval of marketing assets with Bombardier Defense stakeholders.

• Create content for various marketing materials, including event graphics, invitations, banners, brochures, factsheets, and digital advertising campaigns.

• Assist the Defense Senior Intern in the following Areas:

• Help manage budget tracker entries, invoices, purchase orders, concur travel claims. Assist with management of giveaway, inventory, ordering, shipment, visits sponsorships, and customer visits.

• Help coordinate company profile on event portals

• Create event listings on the Bombardier Defense website.

How to thrive in this role?

• Currently enrolled in a university program studying business, marketing, hospitality, event management, or communications.

• Per US ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) Requirements, must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder).

• Has interest/experience in marketing and communications related to the Defense industry.

• Has the ability to respects timelines and can manage multiple projects, while remaining calm in a fast-paced environment.

• Brings creativity, passion and enthusiasm to all assignments.

• Eager to learn and develop professionally.

• Enjoys teamwork and wants to develop strong interpersonal relationships.

• Has excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel and Word.
