Schedule: Full time; primarily Monday through Friday, 1st shift from 7am-3:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays. More details are available upon interview.

Job Summary
As an Environmental Services Manager, you will assist with the overall management of the EVS/housekeeping department at a hospital. You will manage at team of about 20 associates on shift, maintain a high level of cleanliness in assigned areas, assist with scheduling, and supporting day to day operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains an environment that is in sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition in accordance with the organizations’ defined program standards
Assigns established work areas and plan and coordinates project work
Participates in programs, policies, and procedures
Ensures associates are accurately trained on scheduled responsibilities and issues and facilitates department training documentation for all associates
Participates in hourly recruitment and staff selection process
Monitors flow and quality of work to assure timely completion to the company's standards and regulations
Conducts regular inspections and inventory of EVS supplies
Attends departmental staff meetings, developmental and training courses, and communicates with members of other departments to coordinate housekeeping activities
Assists in maintaining the department in an "inspection ready" state at all times
Assigns equipment to staff and supervises daily equipment use, cleaning, and maintenance
Maintains excellent relations with residents, client, and all community departments
Assists housekeepers on an as needed basis
Additional duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications:
Housekeeping or environmental services experience preferably in a hospital environment
Support services, military or facilities maintenance experience
1 year of supervisory or management experience
Strong work ethic, drive, and initiative for quality and customer service
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent problem-solving skills both one-on-one and in group situations
Ability to use a participative approach to managing staff
Understanding of budgeting processes and awareness of profit and loss concepts
Excellent administrative and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
Ability to function appropriately under stressful conditions
CRCST or applicable sterile processing certification a plus
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet
