Job Title: DOD Structural Mechanics

Job Description

Structures Technician/Composite Technician

• Capable of proficiently interpreting various blueprints, manuals, and engineering documents.

• Can perform precision drilling, countersinking, upsizing holes, removal and installation of hi-loks

and hi-lites and the use of calibrated tools.

• Ability to Align parts on jigs using templates and fixtures, filing, sawing, burring, crimping,

trimming, framing, riveting, and measuring parts with micrometers and calipers to

verify dimensions.

•Hydraulic and fuel line installations

• Assisted with pressure/leak test

• Composite or resin skin repair

• Able to perform work in confined space

• Capable of sealing, fillet, fay surface, injection, etc

• Properly able to prep and bond fillers/fittings

• Check system functions

• Composite Fabrication/pie rework

• Experience with a variety of aircraft installations, both systems and structures

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Wichita, KS.
