Reasonable accommodations may be made to help enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\ Operates commercial vehicle(s) including a heavy-duty truck with an extended trailer and a 30\' box truck\ Safely secures loads using straps and tie-downs to prevent damage and minimize the risk of unintended movement\ Maintains accurate driver logs in compliance with state and federal guidelines\ Operates forklifts, hand trucks, or other material handling & moving equipment\ Verifies equipment is operating correctly and safely; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance as appropriate\ Follows directions consistently and accepts responsibility for his/her actions and work product\ Communicates professionally and effectively, both verbally and in writing (English)\ Complies with applicable DOT regulations and Company processes, work procedures, and supervisor instructions\ Adheres to safety guidelines and procedures; proactively identifies job hazards and collaborates with leadership to minimize hazards and ensure employee safety\ May perform packing, shipping, warehousing, or other duties as assigned when not driving\ Valid Class A CDL and DOT Medical card are required and must be maintained; an acceptable driving history is required to meet insurance requirements\ Regular attendance on-site at the workplace is required\ Regular travel, including some overnight travel, is required\ Required Education and Work Experience\ A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required\ A minimum of one (1) year of commercial driving experience using similar equipment is required\ Experience driving a forklift to move oversized items in a shop environment is required
