Job Summary:

To apply finishes to a variety of parts or assemblies. May be required to assist lower grade Painters.

Job Responsibilities:

• Workingfrom oralandwritteninstructions andestablished procedures, preparepaintedsurfaces, sprayprimersorvariouspaintfinishestopartsandassemblies.Usessomejudgmentinobtaining desired finish.

• Selectsandadjustssprayguninaccordancewithinstructions,performsmaskingand sanding duties as required prior to painting and checks own work for coverage.

• Professionallyappliespainttosurfacemaintainingfinishrequirementsacceptabletoshop supervision and quality control.

• Adjustsandcleansspraygunandpaintequipmentorothercompanytoolscheckedoutfor performing job assignments with appropriate solvents.

• Mayperformapplicationofanti-corrosiveagentstopartsandassemblies.

• Responsibleonlyforownworkandqualityofownwork.

• Performsotherrelateddutiesasrequired.

Qualifications

Education:

Requires a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.

Experience:

Requires a minimum of one year manufacturing spray painting or equivalent experience. May be required to complete department specific certifications.

Working Conditions:

Particularly disagreeable working conditions due to exposure to paint fumes.

This role is eligible for a $4,000 (pre-tax) sign-on bonus. Terms & conditions apply. The Company reserves the right to amend or suspend this program at any time.
