JOB SUMMARY:

Candidate will learn how to enter and maintain customer account information into Textron Aviation account management system. Maintains department’s filing and recordkeeping. Also supports ProAdvantage and Parts Sales teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Creates new and maintains existing customer accounts by compiling, reviewing, and entering data into account management systems to ensure accuracy of customer information.

• Suspend and/or close customer accounts based upon stop notices from accounting team.

• Review Net 30 account application to ensure all information provided for accounting team to determine credit limit allowed.

• Work with ProAdvantage and Parts Sales team on customer discount rate to be allowed for their account.

• Ensure daily and monthly billing process is completed.

• Special assignments and additional duties as required.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Aircraft Management, Business Management, or other related field

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent oral, interpersonal, and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Good computer skills

• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work in a team environment to meet department level objectives

Applicants must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S. for Textron Aviation at the time of making application, and visa sponsorship is not available for this position, including for F-1 students and J-1 exchange visitors who will need employment sponsorship.

Summer internships are 40 hours per week typically from late-May to early-August lasting 10 weeks.

Candidates must be able to work onsite for the entirety of the internship program unless approved otherwise by the hiring manager.
