CTG Document Control Analyst in Whiting, Indiana

Description

CTG is seeking to fill a Document Control Analyst opening for our client in Whiting, IN.

Location : Whiting, IN (Hybrid remote)

Duration : 2 years

Overview:

The Document Control Analyst is the interface between groups/ departments and their critical electronic information, making it controlled, current, and available within the context of Information Management best practices.

Information managed will include engineering documents, drawings, and facilitating the management of equipment or departmental activities ensuring information is attributed accurately and loaded into the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).

Duties:

  • Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to accurately audit, update, and retrieve documents from EDMS

  • Creation of virtual links to information making it easily accessible to everyone

  • Responsible to follow established Information Management practices, procedures, and guides, including but not limited to attributing, numbering, and standardized naming conventions

  • Handling of records and documentation, including the preparation of internal and/or external distribution, on/off site archiving, indexing, cross referencing and destruction of information

  • Use of high-volume scanners to convert information into an electronic format

  • Able to identify differences between document types and accurately assign appropriate retention codes

  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service through written communication, TEAMS, or in person

  • Responsible for management of site Environmental library (hard copy and electronic)

Required Skills:

  • Strong Working knowledge of an EDMS

  • Experience producing and handling electronic file formats including DOCX, XLSX, DWG, PDF, JPG and TIF in viewing, creating, editing, and printing as required of these files

  • 2 years experience in Information Management (Document Control)

  • Ability to understand project requirements and communicate clearly with all members of the team

  • Follows Company Policies, Procedures and Regulatory Requirements without Deviation

Preferred Skills:

  • Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and handle multiple priorities

  • Advanced Microsoft skills and Office 365 expertise

  • Experience in the management and operation of a Share Point environment for information

  • Capable of solving complex problems using professional judgement, creativity, collaboration, and innovation

Education:

  • Associate degree preferred in IT related field, Engineering, Business, or Medical

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
