This role will involve performing a wide variety of HR duties, including assisting with sourcing new talent, posting open requisitions, recruiting, new hire orientation, updates to the employee handbook, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update employment records for terminations, new hires, promotions, and transfers

• Update internal policies and procedures under the general guidance of the HR leadership team

• Oversee benefits and open enrollment programs

• Develop orientation and onboarding programs for new employees

• Manage and interview candidates

• Oversee the hiring process including screening applicants' resumes, performing candidate background checks, and job postings Requirements - May require a bachelor's degree in HR or a professional certification in human resources, business management, or a related field

• Skills in office computer applications and software, as well as social media platforms

• Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS)

• Must have fantastic interpersonal and communications skills

• Demonstrated knowledge of HR procedures and functions, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development, and managing employee relations

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws

• Prior knowledge or experience in HR or recruiting
