This Position is Contingent on the Contract Award
Position Overview:The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and manage data architecture to support MCICOM G-9's Installation Analytics and Common Output Levels of Service (COLS) program. The role involves creating data models, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring the performance and scalability of data systems.

Requirements
Position Responsibilities:
· Design and implement relational databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
· Develop ETL pipelines to integrate structured and unstructured data.
· Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
· Optimize data performance through indexing, partitioning, and caching strategies.
· Establish data governance policies and security protocols.
· Utilize business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards.
· Maintain centralized source control and ensure compatibility with cloud environments.
Position Requirements:
10+ years of experience in data engineering.
BA/MS degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database technologies.
Experience with ETL tools and data integration techniques.
Must be able to pass a US Agency Public Trust Investigation
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- IBM Data Engineering Professional Certificate, Google Cloud Data Engineer Certification, or equivalent preferred.
