Robert Half Payroll Administrator in Wethersfield, New York

Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team in Wethersfield, Connecticut. This role is pivotal in the Payroll Services industry, focusing on the assembly of payroll packages for delivery and performing other fulfillment-related tasks. The successful candidate will be expected to comply with all security and audit procedures to protect client information and maintain the readiness of all distribution equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Assemble payroll packages per client number and prepare for delivery to clients, ensuring quality and timeline expectations are met

• Complete all package confirmations and checklists, maintaining accurate tracking and security of package flow and location

• Record and escalate issues to appropriate parties to ensure that output is not missing or incorrect

• Maintain the readiness of all distribution equipment, including regular cleaning and user maintenance

• Stage packaging supplies as necessary to maintain production readiness

• Utilize computer skills to manage and maintain accurate client records and data

• Apply multitasking skills to handle multiple tasks without compromising the quality or integrity of the work

• Stand for long periods of time as needed

• Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs as part of job duties

• Follow company procedures and policies to ensure a consistent and high-quality service

• Use skills in payroll, quality control, and production to provide a high level of service to clients.

Requirements • Proficiency in payroll processes and procedures

• Detailed understanding of payroll policy

• Ability to maintain quality standards in payroll

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Ability to manage payroll production effectively

• Understanding of payroll security measures

• Experience with payroll confirmations

• Ability to manage missing invoices

• Strong computer skills

• Knowledge of packaging components in payroll services

• Ability to develop and implement audit plans for payroll

• Experience with payroll checklists

• Ability to multitask efficiently

• Proficient in writing short correspondence related to payroll
