Program Overview:

One-Year Rotational Experience:

  1. 3-weeks of onboarding and training centered around building foundational banking skills, hearing from senior leaders, and setting you up for success.

  2. Four, 3-month rotations in areas across Enterprise Experience Organization (EXO) or the Consumer Bank.

  • Consumer Bank: Business Banking, Consumer Strategy, Core Banking, Deposits, Digital, Innovation, Lending, and Wealth Management.

  • Enterprise Experience: Communications, Corporate Affairs, Customer Experience, Enterprise Payments, Marketing, Risk, and Sustainability.

Peer Advisor Mentor Program and Support:

  • Paired with a CBEX alumni as a peer advisor for guidance throughout the program and beyond.

Post-Program Placement:

  • Participate in a matching process for a full-time role in the Consumer Bank or Enterprise Experience Organization upon completion of the program.

Early Career Development Programming (ECDP):

Opportunity to understand the bank holistically across all businesses alongside other early career program colleagues at Citizens through programming over the first 3-months. Consists of: Business overviews, skills workshops, networking and an E-Pitch competition for a local non-profit.

Qualifications:

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Ambitious team players and strategic thinkers

  • Skills in analytical and critical thinking, business and financial acumen, communication, creativity, data analysis, detail-oriented, initiative, leadership, learning agility, relationship building, and time management.

Requirements:

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree, expected graduation date of May 2025

  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 (3.50+ preferred)

  • All majors considered; preference for Business, Communications, Economics, Finance, Management, and Marketing

  • Demonstrated leadership experience desired

-Candidates must currently be a U.S. Resident to be eligible for this program.

Please note that U.S. Immigration sponsorship or work visa is not available for intern / full timet positions and candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S

Location:

  • Program starts mid June 2025

  • Based in Westwood, MA, with some rotations in Johnston, RI

  • Westwood office is easily accessible by car or 20-minute commuter rail from Boston with employee shuttles from the MBTA station.
