Responsibilities

The administrative analyst works under the supervision of the Manager of FPG Ambulatory Operations & Financial Services to provide independent, administrative, analytical, and program support to Ambulatory Operations including: Maintaining the EPIC CareConnect Cashiering Platform, Cash Controls, and various other projects. The incumbent will maintain the EPIC CareConnect Cashiering General Ledger Table to assist with integrating a daily direct feed from EPIC CareConnect to Campus General Ledger. Incumbent will provide support to the FPG Finance Department by analyzing reports related to the Cashiering Platform, to ensure efficiency and reduce point of entry error to the Campus General Ledger. Activities include (but not limited to) Cash Controls; in office training; auditing; reporting. Collect and analyze data, and work on other special projects as assigned. Travel to all UCLA Ambulatory practice throughout the greater Southern California area is required. Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Ability to perform all Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Excel with accuracy and appropriate formatting.

Skill in reading and understanding documents written in standard English text for informational communication, action and distribution.

Writing skills to compose edit and proofread routine business correspondence using appropriate English grammar, syntax, spelling and punctuation.

Ability to communicate orally and in written form clearly and succinctly.

Ability to independently analyze information or problems, identifies relevant factors, trends, and options, then implement and monitor solutions.

Ability to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with patients, co-workers, administrative personnel, managers, directors, and clinicians.

Ability to collaborate and work effectively with diverse groups of people in order to accomplish tasks and/or meet goals and objectives.

Skill in organizing and prioritizing workload in order to meet deadlines in light of changing, heavy workload, and competing priorities.

Ability to perform job duties in a detailed, accurate, and efficient manner.

Skill in performing with frequent interruptions and/or distractions.

Ability to work in a stressful and fast-paced environment.

Working knowledge of the organization and where to go to get issues resolved.

Ability to work flexible hours, as needed.

Working knowledge of University policies, procedures and forms, as they relate to performance of job duties.

Experience in leading, facilitating and sustaining service redesign and improvement in a clinical setting using proven methodologies. Prefered (LEAN) experience supporting clinical colleagues through change with sound knowledge of change management principles and theory.

Ability to travel to multiple clinics

Ability to manage various projects with minimal supervision.
