The opportunity

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Finance Manager will lead and support finance activities including (but not limited too): budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and achievement of performance targets for Anda (a division of Teva). The position will support the full P&L (revenue to operating profit) as well as obtain industry information regarding supplier pipeline, new product launches, price erosion, etc. This will require strong business partnership and a robust forecasting process that is unique to Anda (Anda is the largest Secondary player in a market where its competition is Teva’s largest customers and where Anda’s suppliers are competitors of Teva). The individual needs to drive the analysis and decision-making support for operational planning and top management, key projects and metrics tied to strategies. Additionally, the incumbent will report, analyze and recommend actions to improve performance, processes and systems.

How you’ll spend your day

ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Collaborate closely with division owners to develop Long Range Plans, annual budgets and quarterly forecast and provide guidance and support related to all financial aspects

  • Provide in- depth research and analysis of information related to industry trends, production, market issues, product launches, price erosion etc.

  • Be the liaison between Anda and Teva manufacturing, operations and finance

  • Serve as finance business partner with various members of Executive Leadership Team

  • Provide support, financials and information to help Anda achieve its strategic objectives and performance targets.

  • Prepare financial analysis and reporting that will support different projects, along with supporting stakeholders through the decision making processes

  • Provide direct support to senior leaders, including the analysis of the operations financial performance, and develop strategic recommendations.

  • Provide hands on financial support for business operations issues, while reviewing trends to provide guidance together with recommendations on potential risks & opportunities.

  • Represent the finance function, as well as serving as a key member on Teva multi-functional process improvement teams

This is a hybrid role requiring the selected candidate to work onsite in Weston, FL 3 days per week.

Your experience and qualifications

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position are considered.

Education/Certification/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting or related program from an accredited institution

  • At least 7 years accounting/finance for chemical, distribution, pharmaceutical industries, retail or equivalent

  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting and/or financial modeling

  • Deep understanding of supply chain and/or pharmaceutical product

  • Advanced presentation skills to executive management

  • Excellent communication skills with varying levels in the organization

  • Innovative leader who will take initiative; is results driven and solution oriented

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Pharmaceutical business knowledge (preferred)

  • Strong analytical, communication and computer skills are required (advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint)

  • Knowledge of systems to manage financial figures (Hyperion and Oracle preferred)

  • Knowledge of corporate policies, internal controls, compliance and procedures

  • Knowledge of accounting principles – GAAP
