POSITION PURPOSE / IMPORTANT APPLICATION INFORMATION The Assistant Recreation Facility Supervisor position assists the Recreation Supervisor with the day-to-day administration and supervision of recreation facilities, involving coordination, planning, and direction of personnel and guests of a multi-function recreation facility, which could include weight room, recreation programs, special events and other leisure facilities. Performs a variety of functions including maintaining a high level of guest service. Once trained, employees must be able to perform with minimal supervision in a fast-paced leisure facility environment.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS/PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS Education, Experience, Skills, Formal Training, Licenses, and Certifications Required:

Bachelor's Degree and one year of progressive experience in facility operations or customer service In lieu of a bachelor's degree, two (2) years of college courses or a minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in facility operations or customer service will be considered Maintain a valid driver's license and safe driving record throughout employment Must possess or be able to obtain a CPR and Standard First Aid Certificate within ninety (90) days of employment
