Robert Half HR Generalist in Westlake Village, California

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist at our location in Westlake Village, California. This role will primarily involve benefits and compensation administration, HRIS management, and providing HR generalist and administrative support.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as a contact point for benefits brokers and carriers to ensure proper administration of benefit plans.

• Plan and execute open enrollment for annual benefits for corporate associates.

• Assist in benefit enrollment for new associates and existing associates with life event enrollment.

• Ensure compliance with the Affordable Care Act and all required reporting of 401k retirement plan information.

• Administer and track associate Leaves of Absence.

• Prepare reports regarding salary administration, history records, data comparison, bonus plan etc.

• Participate in negotiations with brokers on benefit offerings that are competitive and cost-effective in the market.

• Serve as a point of contact for all Human Resources Information Systems and Benefits Administration Systems (HRIS).

• Ensure ongoing maintenance and updates of associate records in HRIS to ensure accuracy of information.

• Conduct new associate onboarding, ensuring all required policies are signed off, forms are completed, and the setup is correct in the HRIS/Payroll system.

• Conduct offboarding of departing associates, ensuring all forms are complete, final payment is coordinated with payroll, and records and systems access are updated.

• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to labor and employment law.

• Support company projects & initiatives as assigned by the Director of Human Resources. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.

• Experience with Ceridian, HRMS, and About Time software.

• Ability to perform Benefit Functions and Compensation Administration.

• Experience in Compliance and Employee Relations.

• Demonstrable knowledge of relevant HR laws and regulations.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
