CIC connects data, content, and process so organizations can realize the transformative outcomes of Cloud, AI, and Enterprise content through Content Intelligence, Process Intelligence, and Application Intelligence. The Content Innovation Cloud Specialty Sales resource acts as a subject matter expert (SME) for Hyland's Content Innovation Cloud. This role supports the broader sales team by driving conversations, positioning Content Innovation Cloud offerings, and influencing customer decisions to meet organizational revenue goals. The individual combines deep product knowledge with exceptional communication skills to develop opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction. What you will be doing Sales Support: * Collaborate with account executives to identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions. * Serve as a technical and strategic advisor during the sales cycle. Solution Development: * Develop and present customized solutions, proposals, and demonstrations based on customer requirements in partnership with Sales Engineering. * Address customer objections by providing thorough explanations and data-driven insights. Product Expertise: * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the specialty product, service, or solution portfolio. * Educate internal sales teams on product updates, market trends, and competitive positioning. Customer Engagement: * Build strong relationships with customers to understand their business challenges and opportunities. * Participate in customer meetings, webinars, and events to showcase expertise. Training and Enablement: * Train and mentor sales teams on how to position and sell the specialty product or solution. * Develop and deliver sales enablement materials, such as playbooks, case studies, and FAQs. Cross-Functional Collaboration: * Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align messaging and strategy. * Provide feedback to product development teams to improve offerings based on customer feedback. Performance Tracking: * Monitor and report on sales activities, pipeline progress, and performance metrics. * Ensure achievement of individual and team revenue targets for Content Innovation Cloud offerings. What will make you successful Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Significant experience as an Account Manager or Executive in a complex environment Deep knowledge and expertise in sales or relevant industry or technology solution Proficient in opportunity management and account planning tools Microsoft Windows and Office proficient Proven year-over-year sales generation success Excellent ability to establish rapport and gain the trust of others Excellent oral and written communications skills that demonstrate a professional demeanor and the ability to interact with others with discretion and tact Highly organized and experienced at successfully multi-tasking Self-motivated with the ability to manage work independently to completion Excellent collaboration skills, applied successfully within team as well as with other areas Excellent at gaining consensus across multiple departments and leadership levels Excellent negotiating and influencing skills Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the principal duties of the job Up to 50
