Seeking a new Program Coordinator for an Adult Day Program located in Westerville, OH. We provide direct services to individuals with developmental disabilities in an inclusive setting with a focus on the individual and community integration.

Hand to Hand is looking for someone with experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, with experience in an adult day program preferred. Program coordinators are expected to provide direct care to individuals as well as filling a leadership role. Coordinators will review documentation, model appropriate behavior, delegate tasks and assist with training new hires.  Hand to Hand strives to empower and advocate for our participants. We provide a supportive and fun environment for participants and staff.

Coordinator Requirements and Qualifications: All minimum requirements of Direct Support Professional Ability to maintain reliable transportation to work; ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled or required shifts.

Ability to communicate in a professional manner to all parties with verbal, gestural and in writing.

Ability to occasionally provide transportation for the day program participants. Higher education degree

Program Coordinator Job Duties and Expectations Ensure compliance with ALL policies and procedures-as stated in the employee handbook and policy manual

Model appropriate behavior for the direct care staff and maintain professionalism throughout any and all communications.

 Delegation of necessary and required tasks to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs); Participation in the same tasks, when needed or required.

 Oversight and monitor of all activities and FCBDD/DCBDD documentation for compliance with county, state, and agency guidelines.

Supervise employees and participants Provide transportation as needed, to and from a participant's home to the center-based location for participants receiving services.
