Who you are?

Due to an increase in work we have a great opportunity for an experienced Chemist who is excited by the variety this role offers. As a Chemist in the Geo-Analytical Lab, you will be responsible for method development and validation, instrument trouble shooting and calibration and hands on

You will be based in Kalgoorlie and will be responsible for operating and maintaining instruments, conducting tests, interpreting data, and providing accurate analytical reports to clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the field of Geo-analytical testing and gain hands-on experience with analytical equipment.

This role is open to sponsorship for the rights candidate.

What will you bring to the role?

  • A formal qualification in Chemistry, such as a Bachelor of Science.

  • Maintain a safe working environment

  • Ensure all work practices within the area are performed to the relevant standards and procedures

  • Provision of quality data and turnaround within clients' specified requirements

  • Applying the quality and continuous improvement system processes

  • Ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures

  • Processing and interpreting data

  • Troubleshoot laboratory equipment

  • Familiarity with mineral processing principles and techniques.

  • Computer literacy skills, preferably with a laboratory LIMS.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

  • Strong Communication and Leadership Skills.
