Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the daily Purchasing needs for our growing company. Ideal candidates will possess strong negotiating skills as well as the ability to multi-task to ensure all functions are met.

Salary range for this position is $65k - $75k, depending on experience.

A Day In The Life

• Ability to accurately negotiate to obtain cost savings

• Research, evaluate and purchase supplies to meet our daily operations.

• Purchase commodities and services to meet specialized and complex needs

• Research and prepare bid specifications

• Prepare and/or review documentation for Imports, as required

• Process purchasing transactions according to local, state and company policies

• Stay abreast of market conditions and update the system accordingly

• Comprehensive knowledge of commodities

• Solve problems with orders efficiently and timely to resolve discrepancies

• Follow proper channels to obtain all authorizations according to company policy

What will help you thrive in this role?

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Business or relevant work experience

• 5 years of Purchasing/Procurement experience preferred

  Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills required
