Description Our client, a small financial planning firm, is seeking a Client Service Specialist/Office Manager to join their team and provide integral support to business operations and client services. This individual will play a key role in maintaining the firm’s high standards of customer service and a customized approach to financial planning. The position involves overseeing all aspects of office management, including technology, supplies, and vendor relations, and supporting client services to ensure long-term client satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities include maintaining client files and database records, managing CRM updates, handling client inquiries, preparing materials for client meetings, coordinating appreciation events, and assisting with website updates. Additional tasks will include managing tax form distribution, assisting with 401(k) maintenance, processing checks, and scheduling client meetings.
Ideal candidates should be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. A bachelor’s degree and customer service experience are required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, and Excel) and a familiarity with basic marketing concepts. The successful candidate should be comfortable interacting daily with clients and providing guidance in a patient, client-centered manner.
