Health Plans, Inc. (HPI) is a New England-based Third-Party Administrator (TPA) of self-funded health and benefit plans. HPI was founded in 1981 to provide comprehensive health plan administration to employers, municipalities, and Taft-Hartley plans. What you’ll do
Under the direction of the Supervisor, Compliance Contracts, this position is responsible for assisting and supporting the Compliance Contracts Team by coordinating the drafting, distribution and tracking of certain administrative and related client agreements using writing, analytical, organizational and administrative skills to ensure such contracts are processed in a timely, efficient and accurate manner.
In this role, you’ll also:
Track and post signed/countersigned client contracts and documents (e.g., Administrative Agreements, Schedule As, HIPAA Certification Forms, PACE Addendums, HealthJoy Riders, Runout Riders, etc.).
Manage the HIPAA Certification Form process.
Process Terminations-Run Out Riders.
Process renewal Schedule As, particularly in the high-volume months of January, July, and October.
Process routine Schedule A revisions.
Produce the Monthly Unsigned ASA-Schedule A Report and Close-out Letters.
Order Department supplies as needed.
Perform related duties as requested by the Supervisor, Compliance Contracts.
What you bring
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience may be substituted for education.
One to three years’ related experience, preferably in a healthcare or employee benefits. administration and/or employee benefits law environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Proficient in DocuSign, Adobesign or another electronic signature platform.
Ability to understand technical legal rules in a health insurance/employee benefit context.
