CH2M HILL BWXT West Valley, LLC (CHBWV) is the prime contractor selected by the U.S. Department of Energy to manage the Phase 1- Facility Disposition Project at the West Valley Demonstration Project. The site is a scenic 30-minute drive south of Buffalo, New York. In cooperation with the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, CHBWV continues to decontaminate and decommission facilities at this site.

JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE OF POSITION: CHBWV is seeking a Records Processor to perform and coordinate a variety of clerical assignments, Records and Document Control functions, and utilize computer equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A. Education/Experience: High school graduate or equivalent Minimum of two (2) years of clerical, records and document control, or equivalent experience. B. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Office 365 applications including Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Forms, etc. Experience utilizing Content Manager or similar for record management is preferred, but not required. C. Other Requirements: Works under limited supervision from the Records Manager or designee, following established procedures and methods. Knowledge & ability to operate office equipment including e-mail, fax, copy machines. Computer proficiency and technical aptitude in a Microsoft Windows environment including Word and Excel. Skilled in word processing/typing. Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK: 1. Maintain a safe and healthful work environment by following established safe work practices and procedures; investigating and reporting identified safety concerns or situations. 2. Adhere to standards contained in the Company Code of Conduct, Company EEO practices, and DOE directives. 3. Assures efficient and proper workflow by receiving, reviewing, assigning, and prioritizing incoming materials in accordance with established procedures. 4. Maintains a high degree of knowledge and expertise relative to the operation of word processing and associated interface equipment. 5. Assists new and other employees by instructing in equipment utilization, word processing procedures and standards, providing orientation of department activities, and directing and guiding the work of lower-level records processors, as required. 6. Prepares documents for input into HPRM, files documents, and maintains record logs. 7. Determines if errors are machine, program, or operator related by taking corrective action in resolving questions or deficiencies in data received or produced. 8. Prepares documents, transmittal forms, and records for transfer to the Federal Records Center 9. Performs searches and retrievals for records from the Federal Records Center 10. Maintains historical records by compiling weekly, monthly, and other reports as required
