We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Senior Engineer to join the Staff Engineer team in Corporate Technology. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving technological innovation, architecting scalable solutions, and providing leadership to a team of highly skilled engineers. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of designing and implementing ground breaking systems, a passion for new technologies, and a commitment to driving excellence in a fast-paced, global environment.

Our technology stack of choice is React, Kotlin and GCP’s data tools. Experience with two of these is required, with a desire to learn the other. How you communicate your designs and patterns is as important as the correctness, maintainability, and performance. You should have a consistent history of bringing others with you, even in the face of adversity. You will get to work on a greenfield platform with the latest technologies solving multifaceted tech and business problems.

How will you make an impact in this role?

Leadership:

  • Provide strategic technology leadership to the team, influencing the direction of technology solutions and ensuring alignment with business goals

  • Mentor and guide engineering teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation

Innovation and Technology Roadmap:

  • Collaborate with multi-functional teams to define and implement a technology roadmap that supports the evolution of Global Servicing capabilities

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and standard processes, integrating relevant innovations into the organization's technology strategy

System Architecture and Design:

  • Lead the design and architecture of complex, scalable, and reliable systems that meet business requirements and performance objectives

  • Ensure that solutions are aligned with Enterprise Architecture standards and principles

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other partners to understand business needs and translate them into technology requirements

  • Effectively communicate technology concepts to non-technologist partners and foster collaboration across teams and departments

Quality Assurance and Best Practices:

  • Drive engineering excellence by promoting consistency for coding standards, code reviews, testing methodologies, and deployments

  • Implement and champion DevOps practices to enhance the efficiency and reliability of the development and deployment processes

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with System Design, Coding, Software Design, GCP is must , React , Kotlin, Data flow , DataProc

  • Past experience as a technology leader or Staff Engineer in a large-scale, global organization

  • Strong expertise in system architecture, design patterns, and software development practices

  • Proficient in multiple programming languages and technologies

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the financial services industry

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, blockchain, and cloud-native architectures

  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
