Heavy Equipment Operator West Springfield, MA 01089 Job Number: JB903025312 Pay Rate: \$25 / hour Job Description Hamilton Connections is seeking 1st shift Heavy Equipment Operators for a West Springfield construction company. Candidates with CDL license preferred. The work week is (4) 10 hours days Mon - Thurs with plenty of opportunity for overtime. The pay is \$25 - \$30 hour depending on experience. Job responsibilities: - Load/unload materials off trucks at shop or off-site - Operate heavy duty construction equipment including compressors, pneumatic tools, grinders etc. - Assist skilled workers during construction, maintenance and repair projects - Complete Equipment condition reports - Understand and comply with all safety policies and procedures - Clean/lubricate machinery regularly Job requirements: - CDL license (preferred) - Knowledge of use of tools, equipment and materials most commonly used is railroad construction - Ability to operate construction equipment (excavator, wheel loader, grapple truck, boom operation) You may also call your local Hamilton Connections office to speak with a recruiter and arrange an appointment.
