Position Summary:

We are seeking an Automation Engineer with extensive experience in instrumentation, control systems, and Building Management Systems (BMS) such as Honeywell, Siemens, Rockwell, or JCI. As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the Verification, Qualification, and Validation (VQV) efforts

while providing Subject Matter Expert (SME) input for automated systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead VQV efforts for automated systems

• Provide SME input for automated systems

• Author System Lifecycle documents for cGMP BMS and HVAC systems

• Author and execute BMS Qualification protocol

• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, process equipment, and control panels

• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, Electrical schematics, and M/P diagrams

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills

• Excellent organizational and communication/people skills

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

• Experience in the Life Sciences Industry

• Hands-on experience authoring System Lifecycle documents for cGMP BMS and HVAC systems

• Hands-on experience authoring and executing BMS Qualification protocols

• Ability to read and understand P&IDs, Electrical schematics, and M/P diagrams

• Exceptional troubleshooting skills

• Excellent organizational and communication/people skill

• Self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Industrial Networks, VMS, VPNs

• PLC Proficiency (Rockwell or Siemens)

• Understanding of electrical design fundamentals and Power Distribution Systems
