The Product Delivery Center is responsible for final assembly and test of F135 engines, auxiliary power units, and small thrust engines. The engine center is also home to support staff including manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, materials, and tooling. We are located on the West Palm Beach Florida campus that is shared with Development Operations, Geared Turbo Fan Overhaul, and a F135 repair DEPOT. This co-location provides opportunities for future advancement not only in the PDC, but other business units and disciplines.

What You Will Do:

• Support assembly and test operations for the West Palm Beach Product Delivery Center and all product lines as a quality engineering team member. Support Finland Propulsion Final Assembly and Checkout facility as needed.

• Participate and lead process improvement initiatives to increase organizational efficiency and effectiveness.

• Coordinate and conduct site internal and external audits. Maintain audit records and manage/track/follow up on associated corrective actions.

• Collect/compile data and drive continuous improvement initiatives in reaction to non-conformances/escapes and in support of reduced cost and lead-time. Facilitate the development of root cause and corrective action for audit findings/non-conformances/compliance issues as well as review and approve CARs in ETQ.

• Collect and analyze process data, transform into meaningful information shared with management (i.e., control towers, MCAB, etc.)

• Train and coach employees, as necessary, in audit processes as well as P&W/RTX procedural requirements.

• This position requires being able to adjust to shifting schedule priorities and perform other work associated duties as assigned. This position may require weekend availability as needs arise. Ability to travel up to 15% is domestically and internationally is required.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years quality experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, and/or defense OR a Master's degree with 6 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, aerospace, and/or defense

• Familiarity with AS9100

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, work instructions, FAI reports and other relevant detailed instructions

• Experience working with RCCA tools

• Proficient in Microsoft suite of products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, etc.

• U.S. citizenship (exclusive of dual citizenship) is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• AS9100 Lead Auditor Certificate

• Prior Lead Audit experience

• Experience with SAP and Solumina

• Engine Assembly & Test experience

• Familiarity with P&W/RTX Procedures and Processes

• JCL2 Certification

• Experience interfacing and delivering presentations with all levels of management and external customers (DCMA, FAA)

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
