An established manufacturing company in West Memphis, AR is looking for an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician with 3 years of experience with gears, pumps, hydraulics and pneumatic equipment! Summary:

Responsible for repairs and preventive maintenance of production equipment and general building maintenance.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Must be able to work independently in troubleshooting and repairs of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment as it pertains to production equipment.

Work should be performed in a timely and professional manner to maximize machine uptime.

Must keep an accurate log of work performed. Must clean up work area and machinery after repairs are completed. Responsible for keeping shop clean and orderly at all times.

Minimum 3 years experience in an industrial maintenance setting is required.

Qualifications:

Minimum training time is 3 months in which technician should familiarize them selves with equipment and show progress towards performing the Essential Duties/Responsibilities of the job. Maximum training time will be up to 6 months, at which time the technician should be able to perform job duties at a level deemed acceptable by the Maintenance Manager.

Must be able to work any shift and weekends as scheduled by Maintenance Manager. Must be able to work mandatory overtime as needed, unless previous commitments are ok'd by Maintenance Manager ahead of time. Must be able to use hand tools (i.e. grinders, drills, saws, and welders) in a safe and efficient manner. Must be able to safely operate forklift and scissor lift as needed.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to stand, walk, climb, and bend while performing job duties. Able to lift 50 pounds, while heavier or odd shaped lifts will require 2 or more people or mechanical lifting device.

Work Environment:

Work inside and outside of plant as needed. Subject to hazards of maintenance duties (i.e. heavy lifting, working from heights, cuts, bruises, pinch points, electrical shock, and burns) as well as plant noise, paper dust, and varying temperatures.
