Description
Park Inc is looking for a high energy customer focused Assistant General Manager to assist with the management of our valet operation at a customer location in West Memphis, AR. Primary focus will be to assist in the supervision and development of team members to achieve the highest level of guest/client satisfaction.
Please note: This position requires open availability with the ability to cover 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift as needed.
Essential Functions:
Work with general manager to maintain a strong working relationship with the designated site point of contact
Train employees in the various operations of the job site, focusing on safety and customer satisfaction
Enforce company policies and procedures
Manage staff and employee performance including employee relations, retention, training, coaching and counseling, safety, etc.
Assist with hiring and terminations
Engage human resources for recruiting and hiring requirements
Ensure company equipment is properly maintained
Assist in property damage claims management
Conduct routine audits and "mystery shop" assessments throughout designated assigned areas
Create and distribute schedules for staff as required
Ensure schedule is properly communicated
Participate in the review of daily/weekly/monthly reports including timekeeping reports
Ensure schedule gaps are filled and shifts are full
Review processes for efficiency and opportunities for improvement
Handle onsite communications with customers, client and management
Ensure compliance of established policies and procedures for both the client and the company

Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years in a fast paced work environment, parking management preferred
Experience managing a large workforce with a variety of roles and responsibilities
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
Excellent organizational, time management, and problem solving skills
Excellent customer service skills with client focus, and an ability to work with all staff levels
Excellent interpersonal and excellent written and verbal English communication skills
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Must be detailed oriented and able to make sound decisions within assigned deadlines
Ability to work outdoors with exposure to extreme weather conditions
Must possess a valid drivers license at all times
Must have at least 3 years driving history with a good driving record
Must be able to drive a manual transmission (stick shift)
This is a 7 day operation and some days we provide service 24 hours
Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for long periods of time as well as jog/run on a consistent basis
