Delaware North is hiring a temporary full-time Accounting Clerk to join our team at Southland Casino in West Memphis, Arkansas. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for completing various accounting tasks, including managing imports of UT files, uploading perfecta reports, handling taxes, jackpot funding, and maintaining the credit card log. Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve disputes related to food and beverage credit card transactions and process marketing-related charges accurately

• Prepare and distribute weekly ATM transaction reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Enter, maintain, and reconcile journal entries in the BirchStreet system, supporting the monthly close process

• Oversee catering and inventory accounting, ensuring accurate record-keeping and proper financial tracking

• Assist in preparing and posting month-end journal entries to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred

• Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk and familiarity with accounting software and procedures

• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

• Experience with Birchstreet and other accounting software with knowledge of tax preparation and filing
