CNC Lathe operators must be able to operate and adjust offsets as required,maintain production equipment,and have previous experience operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine.

Responsibilities

   Skillfully operate and adjust machine offsets as needed to ensure precision.

   Interpret and comprehend blueprint designs accurately.

   Efficiently set up machinery for production processes.

   Perform precise measurements and verify all calculations prior to machinery setup.

   Maintain a clean,organized,and safe working environment.

   Proficiently read and record dimensions using Vernier Calipers,Outside Micrometers,Inside Micrometers,and other measuring tools.

   Conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery.

   Input all relevant codes to specify the feed,speed,and cutting parameters for CNC lathe toolpaths.

Qualifications

   Must be mechanically inclined and able to run machines with little supervision.

   Previous experience operating and running a CNC lathe or similar machine,required.

   Expected to be a self-starter,a good manager of time and work independently.

   Must be able to understand basic concepts of machining and measuring.

   Must have previous shop experience.

   Must have previous experience reading blueprints and calculating dimensions.

Pay

$22.00 - $28.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Day Shift | 6:00am 3:00pm | Monday - Friday | Full-Time
