Responsibilities Position Summary Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Finance Director, the Financial Controller position is responsible for a variety of financial, accounting, and reporting functions including, but not limited to, leading accounting & finance related activities including month end close, budgeting, forecasting and full P&L responsibility for the location. This role has oversight of accounts payable, inventory costing, and SOX compliance. The Controller is a key part of the West Jefferson location leadership team and helps drive results while maintaining financial integrity. Duties and Responsibilities Act as a key leader for the West Jefferson facility and liaison to Corporate Finance & Accounting Leadership to support the strategic objectives of the Business. Oversees and manages the general accounting functions including Month End close, cost accounting, fixed assets / Capital Project Requests, and Accounts Payable. Lead development of monthly forecasts, and the Annual Operating Plan. Maintain customer relationship related to financial aspects including pricing and monthly reporting for customer contracts. Manage the preparation of monthly/quarterly business reviews and KPI reporting. Oversees the preparation of product costing estimates for new and existing products. Provides leadership, supervision, and development of cost accounting and accounts payable staff. Assist in internal and external audit activities. Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education/Experience Qualifications College degree in Accounting or Finance. 7-10 years of accounting/finance experience required; full P&L oversight preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with others. Experience in manufacturing industry & cost accounting experience. Demonstrated aptitude for effectively supervising and directing the work of others. Demonstrated aptitude for utilization of computer technologies. Experience with SAP a plus. MS Excel Intermediate to Advance skills. Highly developed analytical, problem solving, and project management skills.
