Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in West Hollywood, California. This role is pivotal in our finance department and involves dealing with customer applications, maintaining customer records, and monitoring customer accounts. This position is based in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment and is crucial to the smooth operation of our day-to-day business activities.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner

• Maintain and update customer credit records using Accounting Software Systems such as ERP and ADP - Financial Services

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues related to Accounts Payable

• Monitor customer accounts regularly and take necessary action when needed

• Utilize Concur and other accounting software systems for efficient account coding and auditing

• Execute accounting functions, including accrual accounting, and ensure compliance with financial regulations

• Operate Automated Clearing House (ACH) for transactions and payments

• Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial data and information

• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in Accounts Payable and implement them as needed. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Account Coding

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Proficiency in using Concur software

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning

• Able to perform various Accounting Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)

• Understanding of Accrual Accounting principles

• Ability to perform Auditing tasks

• Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions
