6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Location/Division Specific Information:

The Transplant Diagnostic Division develops and distributes a comprehensive line of typing and antibody detection products, laboratory instrumentation, computer software, and clinical laboratory services that are used to help match patients and donors before transplant, monitor patients post-transplant, and advance research in the transplantation space. Our primary operations are located in West Hills, California, which includes our main manufacturing facility, R&D, and various support functions.

How Will You Make an Impact:

We are seeking an upbeat individual with strong communication, technical and operational skills to join our West Hills team. As the Sr Manufacturing Operator, this role will carry out the production process by closely following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and work instructions as they relate to materials handling, equipment operation, and finished good packaging to achieve our daily production schedule and quality goals.

A Day in the Life:

  • Schedule, Formulate, dispense and/or package in-process and finished goods.

  • Set up and operate equipment of moderate complexity.

  • Lead inventories physically and systematically in SAP as well as perform cycle counts.

  • Assist in developing process-related procedures.

  • Perform other tasks assigned by Manager or area Lead.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field

  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Experience with PPI Business System preferred.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point.

  • Organizational, record-keeping, and data analysis skills.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Frequently work at laboratory workstation, low temperature freezers, and computer workstations

  • Some lifting of objects including laboratory instrumentation of 35 pounds

  • Handle and work with biological and chemical substances.

  • May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing certain tasks.
