Paychex EPFC Supervisor in West Henrietta, New York

Overview

Provides direct supervision and development of Print and Fulfillment Center personnel. Ensures that quality products are delivered to our clients and customers in an accurate and timely manner by managing day-to-day workflow/processing of the center.

Responsibilities

  • Supervises employees in all aspects of Enterprise Print and Fulfillment Center (Print Operations, Insertion and Distribution/Fulfillment); monitors work flow using key indicators and staff to ensure deadlines and accuracy requirements are met. This includes monitoring printing, packing and delivery of payrolls.

  • Strategically plans current and future production and printing capacities and utilizes technology and work flow enhancements to improve processes and to ensure staffing and materials are ready.

  • Supports less predictable product lines with the need to be able to multi-task and adapt to situations and requests to ensure business unit and client needs are met. May need to coordinate efforts outside of the EPFC as needed.

  • Provides technical expertise to solve problems regarding internal, field office and client issues.

  • Ensures that quality service is provided to both the field offices and clients and uses judgment skills to make decisions for client concerns.

  • Maintains knowledge of technology and vendor tools available to the EPFC to ensure best practices are followed and proper equipment and solutions are utilized by the department.

  • Recruits, selects, hires, and evaluates performance of personnel to ensure that all departmental needs are handled appropriately. Counsels and develops staff for personal and corporate advancement through career development, training programs, and other resources.

  • Represents the department on teams and projects to ensure that the actions of the team are met and are in line with departmental goals. Assists business units by consulting on what can be offered to build their products.

  • Oversees and facilitates installation of equipment in the computer room and insertion areas to ensure the setup is performed properly, accurately and timely.

  • Builds and strengthens relationships with business units and vendors to improve processes and enhance the service levels provided to clients and internal partners.

  • Makes recommendations to HRS Managers and other business partners regarding the development of policies and procedures by identifying processing efficiencies and making recommendations on how to implement changes.

  • Ensures all business unit SLA’s are in place, adhered and are updated to meet the ever changing business needs.

  • Acts as the subject matter expert for fulfillment to support product integration and must be able to work with multiple systems due to the scope of products the EPFC supports.

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $52,918.66- $83,157.89 annually. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
