JOB SUMMARY:

Driving process improvements, leverage technology, improve processes, and reporting that aid in the success of our enterprise vision. Manage risk by creating internal controls, monitoring contract compliance and reducing risks through planning, problem-solving, and being a strategic thinking. Manage all activities related to revenue recognition, invoicing, collections, and job cost reporting. Shape work environment and create high performing teams by developing and coaching staff to ensure sustainability and a culture of positive customer experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

Supervises employees in the contract management support department, including Rochester, NY and Concord, NC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Ensure contracts for area of responsibility are managed to the best advantage for LTS, including, revenue recognition, adjustments, billing efforts, managing risk, and collections. Ensuring Support Coordinators are well versed in the contents and applicable requirements for billing.

  • Managing to results for process around accounts receivables and unbilled balances for respective customers.

  • Learn the bid process and be a backup for your area of responsibility.

  • Hires, mentors and manage on-site and remote staff; including discipline and terminations. Take the lead to address performance issues.

  • Identify areas of opportunity and drive and approve process improvements.

  • Revise, develop and implement CMS policies and procedures.

  • Review and analyze weekly job cost reports for completeness and reasonableness.

  • Responsible to interface effectively with customers, potential customers, and operations management/personnel to aide in relationship building and assist with providing guidance that benefits Lewis Services as well as our business partners.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Participates in special projects as requested.

  • Assist in coordinating storm processing.

  • Responsible for being familiar with company policy, customer requirements, and applicable state/federal regulations.

  • Occasional travel is required

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field

  • Minimum of five years managerial experience including managing business processes and process improvements.

TECHNOLOGY, EQUIPMENT & TOOLS:

  • Knowledge of accounting software.

  • Strong spreadsheet knowledge.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES & COMPETANCIES:

  • Strong knowledge of contract elements and request for proposals; able to read and identify key items within a contract.

  • Business acumen and organizational agility (understanding how the business functions and the culture of the organization)

  • Able to lead and provide guidance to others with objectivity, inclusiveness, and approachability.

  • Develop, educate, and counsel staff. Ability to right size the team.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to create efficient excel spreadsheets, interpret data, and provide recommendations to senior management.

  • Good problem-solving skills to effectively manage staff and department.

  • Good planning and organizational skills to balance and prioritize and delegate work.

  • Experience working with generally accepted accounting principles and accounting software, as well as collections experience.

  • Effectively communicating with customers, operations and executive leadership

  • Strong math, computer, communication, and time management skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to multi-task in a faced-paced environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.

Pay range: $70k - $95k
