First Health of the Carolinas Volunteer Services Manager - Hospice and Palliative Care in West End, North Carolina
- Plans and develops current and future program services to meet agency goals including: + Develops and implements department Policies and Procedures. + Develops department budget. + Expands knowledge through ongoing education. + Coordinates services to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory guidelines and accrediting bodies with the ability to assess staff competencies. + Ensures services comply with policies and procedures and meet needs of agency. + Develops and oversees volunteer recruitment and retention including: + Develops and conducts department orientation training and coordinates continuing education programs. + Organizes, plans, and implements Volunteer Recognition activities. Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in the volunteer/non-profit field required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of three years previous hospice, medical or volunteer organization experience required. Valid NC driver’s license.
