Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Production Floor Supervisor to join our team. As the Production Floor Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shop floor operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow. You will work closely with the production team, ensuring that all production targets are met, and quality standards are maintained.

Reports to: Facility Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in a production/manufacturing setting

  • Skilled use of various types of equipment in the shop

  • Proficient use of a tape measure

  • Ability to read various types of drawings

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet production targets and deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications

Working Conditions:

This is a warehouse work environment which may include lifting, standing and possible extreme heat/cold conditions. You will work around electricity and other potential hazards requiring appropriate safety equipment and practices at all times.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Supervise and manage the shop floor operations, ensuring productivity and efficiency.

  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of raw materials and finished products.

  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely delivery of finished products.

  • Train and develop shop floor staff, providing guidance and support as required.

  • Implement and enforce safety policies and procedures to create a safe working environment.

  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance productivity.

  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify performance trends and implement corrective actions.

  • Work overtime as needed to meet customer demands.
