Position Overview:

Responsible for all duties relating to training of Management staff and existing employees. FLEXIBLE on location; home office dependent upon location of selected candidate. Hybrid schedule. Opportunity to work from home up to two days per week after successful completion of training.

    Position Responsibilities:

  • Primary focus on delivering leadership programs to the Management team, assisting with the onboarding of newly promoted/hired Supervisors, and providing development programs to employees.

  • Develop and implement performance-based training programs to incorporate business strategies, competencies, and professional developmental needs.

  • Assist in design of computer-based and multimedia courses for synchronous e-learning.

  • Manage instructor and student materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids) for instructor-led topics/content.

  • Partner with key management regarding various needs and training revisions.

  • Provide feedback to learners and their managers. Use this evaluation and feedback to upgrade programs.

  • Supervise employees during training sessions by tracking attendance, promoting a positive learning experience, and documenting performance and development needs.

  • Administer learning schedules, calendar, and evaluations in the learning management system.

  • Communicate and work with other department leadership and staff as needed.

  • Keep inventory of training manuals and materials.

  • Other duties as assigned or required.

    Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred and/or 5+ years of experience in a management role with direct reporting relationships.

  • Ability to purposefully engage leaders with direct experience and focused reflection to increase knowledge, develop skills and clarify best practices for leading teams.

  • Experience in classroom instruction and conducting presentations.

  • Ability to bring information, knowledge, and experience together in a logical format and train it in a classroom environment.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher.

  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and follow-through skills are required.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Mediacom infrastructure, programs, and policies.

  • Ability to lift and transport training equipment and set up classrooms.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and overtime, as required.

  • Ability to travel 25+% across the Mediacom footprint to meet the needs of training requests.

  • Satisfactory driving record required.
