Description

In this role: Participate in or provide support for low complexity initiatives within Loan Workout. Review basic or tactical issues policies or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained related to low-risk tasks and deliverables with narrower impact in Loan Workout. Receive direction from supervisor and exercise judgment within defined parameters while developing understanding of function policies procedures and compliance requirements. Provide information to client personnel in Loan Workout.

• This contractor will be supporting the legal remedies team in collecting signatures required for discovery to pursue litigation to offset/collect balances for credit cards and loans.

• Physically recording wet signatures, scanning & uploading packets of signed legal documents to retention system

• Partner with up to 14 different law firms/ legal partners to provide notifications of new daily uploads

• Will ship out hard copies of documents to legal partners and destroy documents in accordance with compliance policy

EXPERIENCE

• 6 months of legal admin experience is preferred

• Hands on experience supporting paralegals attorneys or court systems will be helpful

• Legal administration/ support experience

• Ability to combining documents in Adobe Reader

• User level experience with Microsoft Outlook Word One Note

• Experience with shipping documents with FEDEX

• Working knowledge of legal civil procedures

  SOFT SKILLS

• Must be highly organized

• Strong time management skills will be working with hundreds of time sensitive documents that come in weekly

• Partnership skills - ability to work with Q/A team

The pay range for this position is $23.75 - $23.75/hr.
