Every day as a Treatment Manager with ourpsychiatric residential treatment (PRTF)you will....

  • Ensure the safety of all students

  • Direct the daily operations of the PRTF (STAIRS Program and boys home)

  • Provides supervision for staff and clients during assigned shift

  • Plan and implement residential program services for assigned areas

  • Guide, train, and mentor all direct reports

  • Assist Program Doctor with staffing, financial management, regulatory compliance, and program delivery

Devereux Pennsylvania Children’s Services (DPACS) center serves children, adolescents and young adults with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities, behavioral, emotional and psychiatric challenges and disorders. Located in West Chester and Malvern Pennsylvania, services provided include psychiatric residential treatment (PRTF), acute inpatient psychiatric hospital (AIP), assessment services, community-based mental health services, community-based employment training and social skills training, and approved private school educational services to male and female children and adolescents (6-21 years of age) with diagnoses of intellectual disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, concomitant psychiatric and behavioral challenges often associated with experiencing some level of trauma in their lives. A primary focus throughout the program is the philosophy of Program-Wide Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PW-PBIS), a program-wide system of care that promotes and rewards positive behaviors, and prevents negative behaviors, to create safe, supportive living environments. Each year, more than 1,000 children and adolescents receive specialized care, in the environment best suited to the unique challenges they face, all with the goal of providing each child with the academic, social, emotional and life skills needed to flourish in their home community.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with at least twelve (12) credits hours in a human services discipline to include but not limited to psychology, sociology, social work, education, pastoral counseling, political science, health, recreation, criminal justice, counseling; and a minimum of three (3) years direct care experience; OR 60 college credits from an accredited college with at least twelve (12) credit hours in a human services discipline (as described above), and four (4) years direct care experience.

Experience: At least three (3) years experience working directly with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities and/or behavioral/mental health disorders and supervisory experience required. Proficient computer skills, mastery of Microsoft Office Applications, experience with data collection/analyzing platforms (Radar, Pro-Filer, and/or other internal and external software applications pertinent to the position). Strong organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Requires ability to work independently, prioritize, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and adhere to established guidelines.
