Communications Test Design, Inc. Software Development Manager in West Chester, Pennsylvania
Software Development Manager (Communications Test Design, Inc., West Chester, PA): Lead cross-functional teams to successful delivery of complex business initiatives; Demonstrate technical leadership in all aspects including development, architecture, testing and deployment; Collaborate with Senior Technical subject matter experts in the technical assessment of new designs and provide approval on development work; Mentor Junior staff in their development following standards, and perform code reviews and approves for readiness of testing and releases; Lead others toward technical accomplishment, as a collaborative project team, to achieve project goals; Provide leadership in evaluating new technologies, best practices, and usage for integration with enterprise systems and architecture; Keep abreast of changing technologies to support the current and future needs of the enterprise, making recommendations; Managing the design and development work of business start-ups for new customers and/or branches; Provide technical support for user issues, troubleshoot problems, and take corrective action on a timely, effective basis; and Assist with coding efforts as needed with priority development efforts. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Demonstrated ability to read, architect and write code; Experience in leading development of web Applications, API's, User Interfaces and database management; Fluent in C#, MVC, Entity Framework and Postgres database; Experience in reading business requirements and translating them into technical specifications for development; Agile management experience and change control processes including JIRA, GIT, Team City and Octopus; Demonstrated ability to lead by example and effectively work in a team environment; and Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, or activities. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, and at least five years of experience in software development or a related occupation. Option to work from home 2-3 days per week. Travel is required 25% of the time within the U.S. and internationally. Salary: $146,078 - $207,899. Send C.V. to sschreck@ctdi.com.
